about the gallery spaces

Our Main Gallery is a modern, purpose-built, space that is open all year round. It houses over 40 Welsh artists and makers from across Wales. One of the rooms is dedicated to our ‘mini’ exhibition series. You can find out more about them here.

The Main Gallery sits within the grounds of Glasfryn Hall, a fabulous Victorian country house. We open the Hall three times a year for special exhibitions where even more artists display their work. The Hall and gardens will be open for the following 2025 dates:

Spring Exhibition (April 3rd - May 5th)

Summer Exhibition (July 19th - August 25th)

Winter Exhibition (Nov 19th - Dec 21st)

about us

Oriel Glasfryn Gallery is owned by Dave and Lise Roberts. Dave is a professional landscape artist and together it was their life-long dream to run a gallery that showcases the best contemporary artists and makers from across Wales. So, in 2019 they bought Glasfryn Hall, a fine country house that they are now lucky enough to call home, and they started to turn their dream into reality.

Oriel Glasfryn Gallery opened at Easter 2022 and is the only independent art gallery in North East Wales.
